Chinese Drones (UAVs)

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), colloquially known as a drone, is an aircraft without a human pilot on board. Its flight is controlled either autonomously by computers in the vehicle or under the remote control of a pilot on the ground or in another vehicle. 

Lijian UAV
China's first stealth combat drone, the Lijian ("sharp sword") designed by Hongdu Aviation Industry Group based in Nanchang, Jiangxi. 
 


Guizhou Soar Eagle HALE UAV
Also known as Soar Dragon, is an unmanned aerial vehicle of the High-Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) type, featuring an unusual joined, tandem wingplan. As of 2011 it is being developed by the People's Republic of China for reconnaissance and possible anti-shipping missions. 






Yi-Long Reconnaissance Drone 
The Chengdu Pterodactyl I is a Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group in the People's Republic of China. Intended for use as a surveillance and aerial reconnaissance platform, the Pterodactyl I, currently undergoing flight testing, is also capable of being fitted with air-to-surface weapons for use in an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) role.
